This excellent Citrix Community blog details how to turn old Win XP desktops into Desktop Appliances (thin clients). I plan to use some of this info in an upcoming project, but would like to take it further to the point where an existing Win XP desktop can simply be moved into a “Desktop Appliance” OU in Active Directory and after a reboot it auto-magically becomes a Desktop Appliance.
